Garry Pinch(Director)
Garry founded Accounting Professionals in 1996 and has been practicing as an accountant in the Illawarra for over twenty-five years. Garry is a Chartered Accountant and member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and the National Tax and Accountants Association (NTAA). During his twenty-five years in practice, Garry has presented papers on Business Improvement Strategies to various business and government groups. Garry’s primary focus and responsibility within Accounting Professionals is his work with the firms business clients, developing their strategies and processes to improve and grow their business successfully.
Angela Hales (Director)
Angela joined Accounting Professionals as a Trainee Accountant in March 1999 while completing her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Arts (Japanese) at the University of Wollongong. In 2000, Angela was awarded for Excellence in Accounting Studies and recognised as the top third year accounting student at the University of Wollongong. Upon her completion of University, Angela began the Chartered Accountant’s program and became a Chartered Accountant in 2002. Angela became a partner of Accounting Professionals in 2004. Angela’s main focus within Accounting Professionals is to work closely with her team of staff to coordinate accounting and taxation compliance work for clients, including tax planning and the preparation of Austrade Export Market Development Grant applications.
Mark Placek (Director)
Mark joined Accounting Professionals as a Trainee Accountant in March 1998 while completing his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Wollongong. Upon the completion of his degree, Mark was accepted into the Chartered Accountant’s program and became a Chartered Accountant in 2003. Mark became a partner of Accounting Professionals in 2004. Mark specialises in Self-Managed Superannuation, succession planning, business and investment structures and specialist income tax and capital gains tax advice.
